After studying Product Design at Parsons in New York, I spent two years as a Materials Specialist at Material ConneXion. While working there, I specialized in green materials and manufacturing processes, and became a published author and lecturer on the topic. Having an influence on design projects varying from cell phones to boutique hotels was exciting; inspiring other design professionals to incorporate sustainability into their designs was downright exhilarating.

I am currently a product designer at Ruffwear, where I design gear for dogs, including packs, boots, toys, beds, leashes, collars, and other products to enhance an active outdoor lifestyle. I love being able to design for dogs on a daily basis; my dog Kaya has almost as much gear as I do!

In addition to Ruffwear, I’ve designed tabletop goods (dishes, vases, glassware) for the Salamander Inn & Spa and the Sierra Club.
